Kevin Hamilton at hambonecbg.com wanted a fretboard with his father’s Army ribbons represented on it as fret markers.
It was a challenge I very much enjoyed taking on as far as finding the right materials to duplicate the correct colors of the ribbons, which is why the majority of materials used for this job were acrylics with a little mother of pearl, brass and recon stone.
The numbers on the green and white ribbon were etched.

The Shane -O- Guitar was built by a good friend of mine who builds cigar box guitars in Dallas, TX. He gave me the opportunity to do the custom inlay work on the fretboard for him. (Thanks again Kevin!)
